WHEN & WHERE?Saturday, June 18 (8 pm to midnight):

A gala for members and friends of Surfrider and other environmental organizations. Surf-related art from a host of professional ocean-loving artists. Wine and hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, music. Exhibit of member-created art inspired by the oceans.

Proceeds from the gala and art sales will benefit the Surfrider Foundation's DC Chapter, and its campaigns to reduce trash and pollution in our waterways and ocean.

The DC Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will be celebrating International Surfing Day by holding an art show fundraiser (Ripple: Art Affecting Oceans) at the Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital in South East DC. It's a celebration of art and the ocean, featuring art, music, wine and beer, food, and a silent auction. Proceeds will go directly to Surfrider Foundation's DC Chapter to help keep our waters clean.
